I had the chance to (finally) stop over to the Covet (Pop.Up) Shop yesterday to say hi to Nancy and check out the latest merch in person. That being said, it was the perfect weekend jaunt tobreak up your Saturday errands, or as a leisurely extension of your Sunday brunch lounging. Plus, you get the chance to a) actually try on/see/touch/feel what’s online; and b) get a sneak peek of some items that haven’t yet made it onto the site.
Not to mention, I walked away with two amazing fall scores, both seen below if you scroll down: The Love Moschino blazer (killer details) and plum Thread Social dress (hangs really well, both belted or no, fantastic color).

For those who love to troll the fleas, the Bowery Bazaar is smallthus easier to navigate than some of the city’s multiple flea-bazaar-outdoor-market-craft fair things cropping up (mostly downtown and in Brooklyn). This one’s still new, and will probably grow into its own, but worth a look…especially for jewelry-hunters. Spotted yesterday was a vendor selling necklaces and bracelets made with tiny GI Joe guns and recycled shotgun shells collected from shooting ranges, just right for paying a stylish tribute to veterans or your favorite serviceman/woman.
